OS Series High Voltage AC/DC Power Supplies

Product information "OS Series High Voltage AC/DC Power Supplies"

Input Voltage 198-264 VAC; Max. Output Voltage 200-450 kVDC; Max. Power 2,000 W; Efficiency 80%; Voltage Regulation <0.005%; Current Regulation <0.1%

XP Glassman’s OS Series of high voltage AC/DC power supplies are sophisticated 2 kW open stack, power supplies with extremely low ripple and noise. They are air insulated fast response units with tight regulation.

OS Series power supplies are designed to meet the growing demands from both users and electric utilities for switching supplies with excellent input power factors that draw harmonic currents below those specified in EN61000-3-2. A range of models is available with output voltage ranges from 0 to 200 kVDC through 0 to 450 kVDC.

OS Series models consist of a rack-style driver chassis, a high voltage stack assembly and a remote-control unit. The driver chassis is provided in a cabinet with 214.1 mm height x 573 mm depth, onto which the high voltage stack is mounted. The dimensions of the stack vary with the output voltage rating and are given in the specifications in the downloadable datasheet. The rack-mountable remote control provides all interface functions and is connected to the driver chassis with the 7.6 m long cables provided. The remote-control unit size is 132.5 mm height x 127 mm depth.

Active correction circuitry (power factor correction, PFC) achieves an input line current harmonic content well below the maximum specified in EN61000-3-2. The OS series features “air” as the primary dielectric medium. No oil or encapsulation is used which would impede serviceability or increase weight.

Internal circuitry constantly senses and integrates arcs that occur over a given time. In the event a system or load arcing problem develops and exceeds factory-set parameters, the power supply will cycle off in an attempt to clear the fault and then automatically restart after a preset “off dwell time”. The OS Series’ high voltage output is inhibited for a short period after each load arc to help extinguish the arc.

Typically, ripple is less than 0.05% peak-to-peak of rated voltage at full load. Off-the-line pulse-width modulation (PWM) provides high efficiency and a reduced parts count for improved reliability. The OS Series’ standard operation mode is constant voltage/current. Automatic crossover from constant-voltage to constant-current regulation provides protection against overloads, arcs and short circuits. A current-trip feature may be substituted for constant-current operation by a remote-control chassis rear panel selector switch.

Standard accessories for the KT Series include a detachable 2,4 m shielded high voltage coaxial output cable, line cord, null modem cable and USB cable.

The OS Series supplies are fully compliant with the following European directives:

illumia®Plus2 Integrating Sphere Spectroradiometers
350-1050 nm; Sphere Size 0.25-3 m; Measurement Geometry 2π, 4π; Performance 0.001-713,250 lm; Max. 4π DUT Size ~16.7-~200 cm; Max. 2π DUT Size ~10 cm-~39 cm Labsphere’s illumia®Plus2 series integrating sphere spectroradiometers are flexible, modular light measurement solutions with centralized data management. From high bays to headlights and everything in between, Labsphere has designed an integrating sphere spectroradiometer for your application, offering flexibility to meet your most demanding light measurement requirements. When a solid-state light engine is used in a luminaire or fixture, the thermal environment near the LEDs is altered by both the design and the application environment. Comprehensive knowledge of the thermal behavior of your luminaire’s or fixture’s photometric and colorimetric performance starts with the illumia® Plus2 elevated temperature spectroradiometers, enabling you to characterize the thermal behavior of your luminaire or fixture simply and confidently across a temperature range of +15°C to +80°C. These elevated temperature spectroradiometers include a choice of a 1.65 m or 2 m insulated integrating sphere with temperature-controlled feedback loop, application-specific modules, accredited reference lamps and Integral® Software. Build a system that meets your needs: illumia®Plus2 integrating sphere spectroradiometers offer flexibility to meet your most demanding requirements and grow with your business. The systems are available in sizes from 25 cm to 3 m in both 2π and 4π geometries. Choose from three spectrometer options and application-specific electronic modules that help you maximize efficiency and productivity while maintaining high absolute accuracy and repeatability, no matter the application. These systems’ advanced integrating sphere design yields improved productivity by allowing lamp “hot swap” to achieve greater efficiency and laboratory throughput. Add-on electronic modules increase functionality and simplify compliance with IES LM-79-19, IES LM-78, and equivalent measurement guidelines. Labsphere’s illumia®Plus2 elevated temperature integrating sphere spectroradiometers are designed specifically to test photometric and colorimetric performance over a broad dynamic range of temperatures per IES LM-82 and LM-79-19 recommended practices. Using Labsphere’s Integral® software, you can operate your system from any device at any location and in multiple languages or automate calibration routines with built in LM-45 stabilization. The software meets LM-79-19 and LM-78 measurement methods and industry standard color calculations.
