630-1650 nm; Board Style; Detector Input Power -30--10 dBm; Bias Voltage -10-10 V; Typ. Null Mode Extinction Ratio 25 dB; Dimensions 79x41x16.5 mm

OZ Optics’ MBC-MINI mini modulator bias controller is a full-function miniature OEM version of the modulator bias controller (MBC) family. It is designed to be used for general single modulator applications. The MBC-MINI modulator bias controller can be used to lock the working point of the modulator at the positive slope quadrature (quad+), negative slope quadrature (quad-), null or peak points of its characteristic curve. The locking modes and slopes are selectable by changing the jumper positions on the PCB. A pigtailed photodetector is included. An external photodetector may also be used.

Key Features:

  • For Single Modulator Applications
  • Board (PCB) Level
  • User-selectable Locking Slope: QUAD+ <-> QUAD-, NULL <-> PEAK
  • User-selectable Locking Mode: Quad+/Quad- <-> Null/Peak
  • Two Operation Modes: Calibration Mode and Locking Mode
  • Calibration-off Mode for Quick System Setup in Locking Mode
  • Stand Alone, No Computer Interface Required
  • Access for External Photodetector
  • Low Profile: Dimensions 79 x 41 x 16.5 mm
  • Detector Input Power: -30 dBm Min., -10 dBm Max.
