OZ Optics’ HGSMJ series of hermetically sealable single mode patchcords with glass solder are designed for today's stringent requirements for component packaging. Utilizing bare fiber without costly metalization, and a proprietary sealing process, these patchcords feature a rugged hermetic feedthrough that can be soldered into an opto-electronic package using standard tin/lead solders. The hermetic seal tube is gold plated to promote good on-site sealing and corrosion resistance. These assemblies are capable of easily creating a seal that meets industry hermeticity requirements.

An auxiliary sensor can be used to monitor the temperature of the system heatsink. With Wavelength’s plug and play instrument, you have the ability to quickly set the controls using either the instrument touch screen or a remote computer, and results are easy to monitor. This allows taking your temperature-controlled application from the test bench to market quickly and efficiently. It then automatically adjusts the PID control values as setpoint, tuning mode, or bias current change. After a single scan, explore either optimized setpoint response or disturbance rejection performance with your load to see which works best. Add or remove the D term to see if noise is an issue. IntelliTune® lets you skip the manual characterization and it’s smart enough to really work—very little adjustment is needed after you have stored a successful characterization scan. Superior measurement confidence is achieved through a combination of excellent basic accuracy, intuitive use and rugged reliability. KI 2600 Series power meters have comprehensive report generation capabilities and a variety of useful features for productivity. Various detector options cover power levels from +33 to -70 dBm, all useful wavelengths, many connector styles including duplex / ribbon, and large core POF fiber. The meter displays mW, μW, nW, dB, dBm to 0.01 dB resolution, with no range-changing delays. A separate reference for each wavelength is stored and displayed.
