Fiber optic collimators are components designed to collimate/focus light exiting a fiber to a desired optical beam. Gooch & Housego (G&H) fiber optic collimators offer low optical loss and high reliability across a wide range of wavelengths.

G&H low -and high-power fiber optic collimators are available in single fiber and dual fibers, ideal for use in fiber sensors and fiber lasers. Operating center wavelengths start at 450 nm and go on to 520, 630, 780, 850, 980, 1064, 1310, 1550 and 2000 nm. Power handling options from 0.1 to 10 W or customer requested.

Four different versions of G&H fiber collimators are available:

  • Low-power single mode (SM) collimators (SCOL-xx-xx-xx-xx-x1-xx-x series)
  • High-power single mode (SM) collimators (HSCO-xx-xx-xx-xx-31-xx-0 series)
  • Low-power polarization maintaining (PM) collimators (PCOL-xx-xxxx-xx-xx-xxx series)
  • High-power polarization maintaining (PM) collimators (HPCO-xx-xx-xx-xx-31-xx0 series)
