FVAm microscopes completely automate every step of the inspection and test process with unmatched speed and reliability. With the ability to automatically test multi-fiber connectors in less than 20 seconds, the FVAm microscopes equip manufacturing facilities to ensure optimized quality and performance of MPO cables and QSFP components at every stage of production.

With 100% autonomous operation, lab and production technicians have everything they need to inspect and analyze MPO connector end faces to ensure quality:

  • Automated focus, panning, and pass/fail analysis, all at the press of a button
  • The optional integrated touchscreen display gives users full control to view live images and analysis results, pan across the end face to view each fiber, configure test requirements, and easily navigate results
  • Select your desired acceptance criteria including IEC-61300-3-35 or customer-specific requirements

Managing clean MPO connections through the production process requires systematic and proactive methods that many technicians find troublesome, confusing and time-consuming. 5R7-582 Temperature Controller
28 A Model 5R7-582’s Bi-directional, H-Bridge control provides for both heating and cooling with seamless transition. User friendly PC software allows for configuration in any combination of PID, On-Off, differential temperature or manual output control. The 5R7-582 temperature controller can be used to take the input from a single sensor and control multiple sets of TE modules through the client controllers (5R7-583). Based on the temperature reading, the 5R7-582 temperature controller will send out the same power level and current direction to all of the clients. By setting up the thermal system this way, much more power is available to control your thermoelectric modules. Each client is a full pulse width modulated H-bridge with 28VDC/25A of available power.
