DL Dye Lasers

Product information "DL Dye Lasers"

560-610 nm; Pulse Energy >5, >50 µJ; Repetition Rate >1, >10 kHz; Min. Pulse Width <2, <5 ns; Jitter <±1 ns

Our DL series of dye lasers is a compact, easy to install complement to our DPSS laser products. Designed primarily to operate with the SPOT DPSS lasers for short pulses, the dye lasers can also be combined with the FQS DPSS lasers to produce higher energies.

DL series dye lasers convert the output of our pulse lasers to other useful wavelengths, whilst maintaining the benefits of short pulses and high repetition rates. The self-contained dye reservoir and pump enable operation for several weeks on one dye fill. Options of broad and narrow wavelength bandwidth (15 nm to <1 nm) are available.

Deuterium Lamps and Power Supplies
Advanced UV light sources engineered for precision spectroscopy and chromatography.AMS Technologies offers a comprehensive portfolio of Excelitas‘ high-quality, long lifetime deuterium (D₂) lamps tailored to demanding UV Vis applications.Available in quartz or UV glass, see through designs, and multiple flange/build options, these lamps integrate easily into a wide range of instruments. Pairing with corresponding power supplies—featuring intelligent ignition and low noise operation—ensures stable performance and minimal maintenance. Powered by Excelitas’ newest High Spatial Radiance (HSR) technology, the lamps deliver superior brightness and signal to noise ratio (SNR), making them ideal for ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) detectors and high end spectrophotometers. The result: reduced recalibration, shorter sampling times, higher throughput, and the lowest cost of ownership.Key featuresHigh Spatial Radiance (HSR) Performance: Delivers significantly higher output than standard 30 W D₂ lamps; the HSR150 achieves +50% output versus best in class alternatives, while the HSR100 rivals premium market leaders.Superior signal to noise: Enhanced SNR enables shorter integration times, improved sensitivity, and tighter detection limits—especially valuable for UHPLC/HPLC detectors.Long lifetime, low noise: Up to 2000 hours of stable operation (HSR150) with low noise and excellent intensity maintenance over life, reducing instrument recalibration.Optimized UV spectrum: Continuous emission 185–400 nm, line free below 360 nm, supporting accurate baseline stability and high precision analytics.Versatile mechanical Options: Quartz or UV glass, see through configurations, and various flanges/builds for seamless mechanical integration.Intelligent power supplies (optional): Low noise, smart ignition and emission control improve startup reliability and extend lamp life.Compact, easy Integration: “Shine through” 30 W designs simplify alignment and coupling into optical systems.Applications(Ultra) High Pressure/Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC/HPLC): High spatial radiance and low noise deliver superior sensitivity and lower detection limits in absorbance based detectors.UV Vis spectrophotometry: Stable, line free UV output supports accurate quantitative measurements and reduces baseline drift in high end instruments.Thin film and thin layer chromatography (TLC): Bright, focused UV illumination improves contrast and measurement fidelity for materials and separations.Fluorescence spectroscopy: Reliable UV excitation for demanding fluorescence assays where SNR and stability are critical.Process, environmental, and QA/QC Monitoring: Long life, low maintenance lamps support continuous mea:surements in industrial, environmental, and laboratory workflows. What’s next?Select the model that best matches your optical path and sensitivity target:HSR100 – A 30 W deuterium lamp delivering output on par with high end market leaders, with excellent stability and easy integration.HSR150 – A 30 W deuterium lamp offering 1.5× higher spectral radiance than any other 30 W D₂ lamp in optimized systems, with a 2000 hour lifetime and outstanding SNR for the lowest detection limits. Its focused beam is ideal for instruments with smaller acceptance areas and still outperforms alternatives up to 500 µm aperture diameters.Need guidance on optical coupling, acceptance area, or detector compatibility?
