With DAFFI MT, Data-Pixel has developed a series of cost effective interferometers for multi-fiber connectors, suitable for high volume production without compromising accuracy or performance. Two versions are available, supporting MT-12 (DAFFI MT12) or MT-16 (DAFFI MT16) multi-fiber connectors.

Based on Data-Pixel’s extensive interferometer manufacturing experience, the supplier designed the DAFFI MT interferometers to be robust, fast and accurate in order to meet all requirements of manufacturing or laboratory environments.

With Data-Pixel’s BLINK software platform (included), DAFFI MT interferometers are able to measure the end face geometry on multi-fiber connectors and ferrules.

The DAFFI MT interferometer accessories (flange and adapters) are fully compatible with the DAFFI SF, DAISI V3DAISI MT FP and DAISI MT-V3 interferometers, allowing the user to limit the costs of the 3D geometry measurement units.

DAFFI MT interferometers are compatible with Data-Pixel’s SUPERVISOR software, a MES style software which is in charge of the execution, management and monitoring of the production in an assembly workshop for fiber optic connectors. Its role is to supervise machines and help operators with complete traceability of the manufacturing information.

They are suitable for light sources of medical devices and display lighting for art objects among others.
