OSI LaserDiode’s CVLL Series of extremely high brightness 1550 nm pulsed laser diodes are capable of up to 75 W output power.

The CVLL Series devices feature low divergence, high brightness and stable output from -40 °C to +85 °C. These 1550 nm high-brightness pulsed laser diodes are well suited to most range finding applications requiring “eye safe” operation. This series is RoHS compliant.

Within the CVLL Series, the CVLL 350-CL90 1550 nm pulsed laser diode offers a far field beam pattern with equivalent divergence values for both the fast (perpendicular) and the slow (parallel) axes of emission. The adjusted far field pattern offers higher coupling efficiency into standard spherical lens systems. The CVLL 350-CL90 diode’s laser/lens is hermetically sealed in a 9 mm package that offers robust environmental survival capability for demanding applications such as field deployed range finders.
